EAM Jaishankar to visit UK & Ireland to strengthen strategic partnerships

NEW DELHI: External affairs minister S Jaishankar will travel to the United Kingdom and Ireland from March 4-9.
The comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the UK has grown stronger in a number of areas, such as trade and economics, health, education, people-to-people relations, and defense and security.
The external affairs minister will negotiate with his UK counterpart David Lammy. Additionally, he will meet other dignitaries and members of the Indian community.
During his March 6-7 visit to Ireland, he will engage with the Indian diaspora and speak with Irish foreign minister Simon Harris and other officials.
