MG Comet Blackstorm Edition Launched In India, Price Starts At Rs 7.80 Lakh

The MG Comet Blackstorm has been positioned as the top-end variant in the range. It uses the same 17.4 kWh battery that generates a maximum range of 230 km on a single charge.

Ever since the micro electric SUV Comet was released in India, it created a buzz in the market. Now, the Morris Garage (MG) has added a special edition in the range called Blackstom.
The latest edition has been launched at the starting price of Rs 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The price range excludes the battery rental, which costs Rs 2.5/km.
In case you are interested in buying the futuristic EV can be booked by visiting MG’s authorised dealerships nationwide. The same also can be done online using MG’s official website by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.
What’s New?
The MG Comet Blackstorm has been positioned as the top-end variant in the range. It comes with the same style statement as a regular comet. However, the company has experimented with the graphics and colour to make it stand out in the crowd. It gets a black road presence, featuring dark chrome elements with black badges on multiple angles.
Interior
Jumping inside the cabin, the model offers an all-black interior with a sweet touch of red accents. The leatherette seats feature the ‘Blackstorm’ embroidery, while doors continue to flaunt the same white and beige combination with the soft touch material.
Battery and Range
Under the hood, the Comet Blackstorm edition uses the same 17.4 kWh battery that generates a maximum range of 230 km on a single charge. It is equipped with a single electric motor, which offers a decent power of 41 BHP and 110 Nm.
